Numi's Aged Earl Grey is a black, caffeine rich, organic tea based on Assam tealeafs and bergamot, a citrus-like fruit. This tea is an ideal substitute for English Breakfast tea and can be consumed when in need of an energy boost at any time of the day. The caffeine content in Aged Earl Grey from Numi is just enough to give you the boost you're looking for.
Aged Earl Grey from Numi is based on Assam tea. Assam and Darjeeling are two of the most famous kinds of tea. They are harvested in different areas and locations in India. Because of the difference in geographic location, and therefore weather conditions, humidity, ect., both Assam and Darjeeling tea have a unique and different taste. Assam tea is harvested in a more humid area, in a valley, making it a darker colour and a more robust malt-like flavour. Darjeeling, on the other hand, is grown at higher altitudes at the foot of the Himalayas and has a milder flavour.
Black tea, like the Aged Earl Grey from Numi, is strong enough to drink with milk. The Assam tea also lends itself perfectly to make a classical London Fog, an Earl Grey latte with vanilla. For 1 cup of London Fog, steep one cup of Aged Earl Grey tea. Use 1 or 2 teabags for this, depending on your preference. Steam some milk and pour it into the warm Earl Grey tea. Sweeten with vanilla powder and powdered coconut blossom sugar (gula java).
From 2 teabags of Aged Earl Grey, you can also make a delicious iced tea.
The Assam tea can also be perfectly used to make a classic London Fog, which is a sweetened Early Grey latte with vanilla extract. To make a London Fog with the Aged Earl Grey you will need 1 to 2 teabags, depending on your preference. Steam a small amount of milk, pour it into the warm Earl Grey tea and sweeten it with vanilla extract and coconut blossom sugar.
You can also make yourself a delicioius cup of iced tea. Simply use two teabags to get the desired taste.
