Amanprana's Verde Salud Olive Oil is of the highest quality. It is obtained directly from the olives by mechanical means. Made from the organically cultivated olives and harvested on the sunny hills of the Sierra Mágina National Park, Andalucia, Spain. Cold pressed (max 27°C).
- It is the only olive oil from a nature park
- D.O.P. Quality
- Quality comparison can be found on the bottle label
Verde Salud is the perfect olive oil for cold but also heated dishes
The quality of Verde Salud is expressed in writing (white on black) on the bottle. If you choose 'extra virgin' olive oil, you know you are getting the best quality olive oil money can buy or the world can offer you.
'Extra Virgin' olive oils have to, by law, meet specific Euro-Wide criteria. However, the qualities of two extra virgin brands can be as different chalk and cheese! Tastes differ vastly and more importantly nutritional values differ!
Verde Salud contains:
- Vitamin E
- Steroles
- Polyphenols
Verde Salud contains, in addition, at least 77% mono-unsaturated fatty acids and is exclusively obtained through mechanical first cold pressing which occurs at a maximum temperature of 27°C. It originates in Andalucia, Spain.
Because of its excellent and exemplary quality, the Verde Salud olive oil can withstand baking temperatures higher than 180°C. Extra Virgin oils of less quality can usually only withstand temperatures up to around 135 °C. A lot of people may think that 'extra virgin' is not suitable for wok dishes or for baking. They would be wrong. Extra Virgin, like the Verde Salud oil, can be used to make delicious meals, so that your meals are comprised of only delicious ingredients.
An important tip: extra virgin olive oils should always be packaged in dark (green) bottles, because air, heat and light will cause olive oil to turn rancid. Therefore, make sure you choice for a dark bottle.
