Bertyn’s Seitan Satay Tops are 100% organic seitan strips marinated in a delicious satay sauce
Satay Tops have the flavour of Indonesia. The name comes from the peanut sauce that they are rolled in. That’s because one of the most popular Indonesian dishes is Saté (or Satay) Ponorogo – grilled chicken satay served with peanut sauce.
Thanks to these Satay Tops from Bertyn you can now prepare a vegetarian/vegan version of the popular Indonesian dish in your own kitchen. Place the seitan strips on skewers, then fry them in a pan while the peanut sauce is heating up. When ready, pour the sauce over the seitan skewers.
Seitan Satay Tops have a pronounced peanut flavour. Just like all of Bertyn’s seitan Tops, the seitan is finely cut so that all sides of the strips can marinade in their sauce. It’s not only peanuts that are added to the Satay Tops, but onion, tamari, coconut blossom sugar, extra virgin oils, fresh ginger, chilli and other fresh spices all contribute to the delightful taste sensation.

Fry and stir in a pan on low heat for 5 minutes.
