Have you ever noticed your new year’s resolutions are the same each year?
Because year after year you just can’t make those resolutions come true. Have you ever tried to not to do more or less, but to do it differently? Because the smallest changes make the biggest differences in the long-run.

Get more exercise. Focus on a healthy diet. Eat more veggies and fruits. Less bread. Less coffee. Spend more time on yourself. Laugh more. Do more of what you really love…

Every year, again and again, the same resolutions. Because year after year you just can’t make those resolutions come true. Where does it go wrong?

Have you ever tried to not to do more or less, but to do it differently? Can’t do more exercise? Try a different kind of exercise. Can’t seem to eat less bread? Try eating bread in a different way.

Because the smallest changes make the biggest differences in the long-run.

Look for 1 exercise – not more – that you like. A push-up, pull-up, squat… go online, let yourself be inspired and choose one fitness exercise or yoga pose that speaks to you. Do this exercise each morning, 1 time. Not more. But every day.

You are now moving differently. Each morning the same exercise, instead of running for half an hour or spending an hour at the gym twice a week. You’ll notice quickly that you will want to do the exercise more than once. And you’ll start your day with something for yourself.

“I want to drink less coffee.” You don’t have to. Drink coffee differently and you’ll start buying less cups of coffee by yourself. Without any effort.

Mix (half) a teaspoon of extra virgin coconut oil into your first cup of coffee. Mix well and enjoy. You don’t have to give up the taste. But you’ll feel more energetic throughout the day and more full. Not only coffee breaks but also snack breaks will be needed less and less.

Focusing more on healthy food can be very simple. Buy the same vegetables, the same fruits as always, just don’t peel them and wash the them differently.

Don’t rinse your vegetables under a stream of water but let them soak in water with a teaspoon of baking soda in it. Pesticides and impurities are removed much better and much faster.

Soaking for 5 minutes is more than sufficient. Rub the baking soda onto the vegetables and rinse. Veggies and fruits become much better for you in no time. And you save yourself time because you no longer have to peel anything.

 

 

Don’t want to give up your slices of bread? No worries, just eat it with a different spread. Then it will become something completely different for your body as well.

Mix one teaspoon extra virgin coconut oil with 1 teaspoon Gula Java Cacao with vitamin D for a home-made Nutella spread. Or sprinkle some Immuno Botanico mix over your cheese or Botanico-chili over your avocado toast. Or maybe you can give your sandwich a Mediterranean twist: several slices of fresh tomato, half a teaspoon of olive oil together with a dash of seaweeds from the 4-Algae mix.

Now your bread is a way for your body to get a boost from healthy fats, herbs and spices.

Laughing more can be accomplished in 1 simple way: by doing it. By reacting differently.

You don’t have to like or love everybody. But treat others how you would want to be treated yourself. With a smile.

Keep this in mind when you’re dealing with others. React differently than you’re used to and do it with a smile. After a short amount of time, it won’t require any more effort to react differently.

Replace your usual evening snack with a piece of pure dark chocolate (minimum 70% cocoa) and a cup of relaxing herbal tea or rooibos tea.

Pure (dark) cocoa is a source of magnesium, one of the most essential minerals in the body. It is also a mineral that supports the production of melatonin from tryptophan. In other words, extra magnesium can provide a better night’s sleep.

You don’t have to give up your sweet before going to bed. Just replace it with something better.
