Heroina is the latest creation of the young family business Heroina from Andalusia. Convinced that quality and design is a binomial, they present their olive oil in an original and daring way. The packaging is as important to them as the olive oil itself! The result is a beautiful glass bottle reminiscent of old pharmacies. On the label is a winged "heroine" (heroina) in genuine vintage pin up pose. The bottle itself is in a box of recycled ecological Kraft carton with a beautiful texture. It is decorated with places, dates and cities that are of special significance for Lola and Angelo, the creators of the brand. For this packaging alone, Heroina is an original gift for yourself or for someone else!
Lola Chicón was born in Villanueva de la Concepción, a typical whitewashed Andalusian town Málaga. Finishes university and works for some years in different areas. After a decade of combining work and motherhood, a new idea starts stirring within Lola. She wants a radical change in her life. Than Heroina flies to the rescue. Destiny and the insistence of Angelo did the rest.
Angelo Tjhie, agronomist, of Dutch origin, has been working in the South of Spain for almost two decades. At university he participates in a seminar in the south of Spain and falls in love with the country and its life style. Years later an opportunity to go and work in Spain presents itself and in a split second the decision is taken to go down to Andalucía, where not much later he meets Lola and falls in love with her!
Spontaneously the two began making original plans to do more with the family olive trees of Lola. The olive trees were planted by the father of Lola when he was still a boy. Almost a 100 years ago!
