Elke lente plukken ze bij Werfzeep voorzichtig bloesems van de amandelboompjes en de wilde kersenbomen in het bos. De ontzettend lekkere, lichtkruidige bloemengeur vangen ze in olie door ze te macereren (de stoffen in olie oplossen). Samen met etherische oliën van neroli (sinaasappelbloesem), bergamot en ondersteunende geuren als petitgrain en lavendel ontstaat de subtiel frisse bloesemgeur van deze zeep. 

Each spring, at Werfzeep, they carefully pick blossoms from the almond and wild cherry trees in the woods. They capture the delicious, subtly spicy almond scents by infusing them in oil. Essential oils of neroli (orange blossom), bergamot and supporting scents such as petitgrain and lavender, come together to form this soap’s subtle, fresh blossom scent.

Almond blossom contains a lot of vitamin E, soothes and is very suitable for nourishing dry and sensitive skin.

Various antioxidants occur in cherry blossoms, including quercetin and glucoside. Both the science and the cosmetics industry are very interested in these substances: they work anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and 'catch' free radicals that cause damage to cells in the body and skin.
