Ecoficus organic fig bread is made from Spanish 'Calabacita' figs, which means 'pumpkin'. The figs come from Almoharin, a small town closely linked to Arab culture and fig cultivation. They are known for their sweetness, honey-like colour and thin skin. This gluten-free fig bread is deliciously handmade sweet, based on figs, oranges, almonds and cinnamon and nothing else. It can be used as a supplement to a cheese board, in combination with pâtés, in desserts or in salads.

The Calabacita figs are picked by hand and dried in the Spanish sun.The dried figs are packed with complex carbohydrates, are a source of iron and rich in dietary fiber, potassium, magnesium and calcium.
