And that is 100% organic cotton. The entire range is made from Neutral.com organic cotton, developed in Denmark and India. The organic cotton used for the Amanprana collection is GOTS certified. GOTS stands for Global Organic Textile Standard. Textiles with this quality mark must consist of at least 70% organic fibres, but Neutral.com consists of 100% organic fibres.

✔ Fair Trade

The cotton farmers receive a higher income because the organic cotton is sold under Fair Trade conditions. Neutral.com also has the SA8000 certificate, because it guarantees the highest rights of the workers.

✔ CO2 neutral

At least 70% of the energy used in the production process of organic cotton comes from wind energy. The waste water from dyeing is also recycled.

The printing company that provided the beautiful, familiar Amanprana elephant applies a similar standard: part of the electricity is generated by solar panels; the sieves used are cleaned in a closed circuit (their own car wash), and certified Oeko-Tex100 ink and water-based ink have been used for years.

And we mean truly 100% organic cotton. Our entire range is made from organic cotton from Denmark and India. The organic cotton used in the Amanprana Collection is GOTS-certified (Global Organic Textile Standard). Textiles bearing this quality mark must contain at least 70% organic fibres, but the fibres in the cotton Amanprana uses are 100% organic.

✔ Fair Trade

The cotton farmers are better paid as the organic cotton is sold under Fair Trade terms. The cotton also has an SA8000 certificate, guaranteeing that labourers enjoy the best possible rights.

A minimum of 70% of the energy used in the production process for the organic cotton is derived from wind energy. The waste water resulting from the dying process is also recycled.
