Mamilla Nipple Fissure Balm Provides Care for the Sking of the Breast
Amanprana believes that what is not in a product, is more important than what is in a product.
Mamilla is 100% natural and organic and does not contain wool wax or lanolin (which is chemically extracted from sheepskin), petroleum derivatives such as vaseline, paraffin, petroleum jelly, liquid paraffin, chemical and carcinogenic substances such as peg-45/dodecyl glycol copolymer, pentylene glycol, butylene glycol, propylene carbonate, isodecyl neopentanoate, synthetic perfume and alcohol.
Care products which contain these ingredients, advise users to remove any resting or remaining product from their nipples before feeding their baby. Mamilla does not have to be removed before you breastfeed.
Mamilla Nipple Fissure Balm is a 100% Natural But Fragile Product - You Use It Differently
Store Mamila nipple fissure balm during warm summer days below 25 degrees Celsius, so that the ingredients cannot melt. Take the mamilla oil with you in the diaper bag. Be careful, nonetheless, when opening the little pot; hotter temperatures may turn the balsem liquid.
Mamilla is packaged in ultraviolet glass and not in plastic. This is done for a reason. Glass is inert and does not migrate into the product. Ultraviolet glass also protects the ingredients against damaging, oxidating influences from light.
Mamilla has been created in two forms: a balsem and an oil. The Mamilla Nipple Fissure Oil comes in a handy roller and travel size.
Use Preventively Before Giving Birth
Use Mamilla Nipple Fissure Balm 8 weeks before giving birth to keep the nipple or surrounding skin in good shape. Rub in the balm after showering, and every morning and evening accross the entire breast and nipple. Allows the Mamilla to provide the care and protection you need.
Use After Birth - When Breast Feeding
- Dab nipples dry after breastfeeding
- Use your finger tops to scrape a little bit of Mamilla out of the pot
- Rub gently onto the nipple in a soft, circular motion
- Use Mamilla (before and) after each time you breasfeed or when you feel its necessary
Mamilla is 100% natural
Prevent Painful Nipples When Running Or Jogging
Mamilla is great for everyone in the family, also a non-breasfeeding partner... If your partner loves to run, you may have heard of irritated, bloody and painful nipples, also known as 'jogger's nipples'. Suggest Mamilla to your partner. Mamilla nipple fissure balm protects the nipples whilst jogging or running.
Avoid painful nipples when breastfeeding by massaging Mamilla nipple fissure balm daily into your breasts and areolas in the period before giving birth. If you’re already suffering from painful nipples and you want to treat them in a skin-friendly manner, Mamilla’s ingredients are all soothing and healing.
- Cacao butter forms a protective layer on your skin, preventing moisture loss and encouraging proper hydration. It soothes and heals nipple fissures, raw skin and wounds. Cacao butter is perfect during breastfeeding for keeping your skin soft and supple, and is effective against itchiness, eczema, psoriasis and all other skin problems.
-
Coconut oil is an exceptionally valuable oil for your skin, with soothing, protective, healing and nurturing properties. It is especially beneficial if your skin is damaged, irritated, dry or itchy, and is perfect for preventing and treating nipple fissures. Coconut oil keeps your skin supple and healthy and its minute molecular structure makes it perfect for absorption deep into your skin. Painful nipple fissures when breastfeeding or a breast infection can be dangerous if bacteria becomes an issue. It was only logical to add coconut oil to Mamilla as it has powerful antiviral, antibacterial and antifungal properties. Coconut oil also actively fights the yeast Candida albicans, which causes thrush. Coconut oil is overflowing with caprylic acid, which attacks Candida at cellular level.
- The essential oil of Roman chamomile is one of the gentlest oils and acts as a natural antibiotic and antiseptic, with disinfecting and antibacterial qualities. It soothes your nipples and areolas if you suffer from an itchy rash, irritations, allergies, psoriasis, eczema, herpes, an infection, minor wounds and sores. Another great characteristic of chamomile is that it relieves painful nipples.
Don’t use soap, standard creams or alcohol, as they disrupt your natural sebum production, and regular creams also often contain harmful chemicals.
Mamille nipple fissure balm is also safe for your baby
Amanprana believes that what a product does not contain is just as important as what it does contain.
These products are harmful. This is why bodycare products that contain these ingredients state in the directions for use that you must carefully remove all residues from your nipples and areolas before nursing your child.
Mamilla is safe for your baby and doesn't need to be removed before nursing. The ingredients are quickly drawn deep into your skin where they carry out the required repair work. And if any is left behind, don’t worry! Mamilla is completely edible.
