Description

Mani extra virgin olive oil and mezes from the Bläuel family

Wild, raw and authentic is the Mani landscape of the middle and southernmost "finger" of Greece's Peloponnese peninsula; home to the Bläuel family business. Pioneering pioneers Fritz and Burgi Bläuel emigrated to Greece in 1978 in search of alternative forms of life and economy. They managed to convince small farmers of organic olive cultivation and revitalize the Mani region by exporting high-quality olive oil. With appreciation, respect and love for people, for the environment and the power of authenticity, they brought the company to fruition over the years.

Fruity, Greek Koroneike olives and other delicacies

The indigenous Koroneike olives are the basis for the Bläuel family's precious Mani olive oils and mezes. The Koroneiki is a small, firm olive known for its fruitiness. Only fully ripe olives are picked by hand and transported directly in baskets to the mill. There, only the best olives are used for the olive oil. The first cold pressing then produces the high quality extra virgin olive oil with fine fruity and mild flavor within a few hours. Mezes are Greek snacks often enjoyed in the company of bread or feta cheese, possibly with a glass of wine - for pure Greek pleasure.

Mani: from the social heart, by conviction ecological

By effectively enabling farmers to reap the benefits of organic farming and the associated market opportunities, Mani produced Greece's first organically certified olive oil. It recently obtained the "Naturland Fair certification" that makes the company's long-term environmental and social commitment transparent and measurable. Naturland is a global organization for the defense of organic farming of small producers, who work sustainably and with respect for the local ecosystem.

The meaning of MANI's logo

An owl entwined with olive leaves reflects the value of the products. In Greek mythology, the owl is attributed to the goddess of wisdom Athena. Moreover, the owl already served as an Austrian trademark. The olive tree symbolizes peace and prosperity. MANI is short, clear and modern and also represents the region in southern Greece, where the company of the same name took root 40 years ago.
