Mani extra virgin olive oil, made by the Bläuel family
Mani’s fresh, fruity, extra virgin olive oil is characterised by the delicate aroma of herbs and wild flowers and a mild pungency. This high-end olive oil is produced in the Mani region of Greece. Wild, raw and authentic – that’s the best way to describe the landscape of the middle, southernmost ‘finger’ of the Greek Peloponnese peninsula: the home base for the Bläuel family business. Indigenous Koroneiki olives form the basis for Mani olive oils.
Olive oil from fruity Greek Koroneiki olives
Koroneiki is a small, robust olive, renowned for its fruitiness. Only fully ripe olives are harvested by hand before being carried directly to the mill in baskets, where only the best olives are turned into olive oil. The first cold pressing produces high-quality extra virgin olive oil with a delicate, mild fruity taste within just a few hours.
Rich in vitamin E and polyphenols
Extra virgin olive oils like the one produced by MANI contain a high quantity of monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids. Extra virgin olive oil is rich in phytochemicals such as vitamin E and polyphenols, which contribute to cell health due to their antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
