The Kombucha Green Tea Blossom from Mattisson is a slightly effervescent fresh drink, made from fermented green tea supplemented with rosehip blossom, linden blossom and hibiscus blossom.
Due to the special double fermentation process, only 0.2 g residual sugar per 100 ml of the used cane sugar remains in this kombucha. The slight fizz is created during fermentation. This kombucha is not pasteurized and therefore retains all good living organisms.
Kombucha is gaining popularity as a healthy drink because it contains significantly less sugar than traditional soft drinks and still tastes nice and refreshing. Always build up drinking kombucha slowly to see how your body reacts to it.

How is kombucha made?
Mattisson makes his kombucha by combining fresh tea with cane sugar and a live ferment or 'scoby' . This is a culture of bacteria and yeast that is full of antioxidants, B vitamins and probiotics. In combination with sugar, a natural fermentation process occurs in which the bacteria eat the sugar. The fermentation gives you the subtle sting and sour taste in this probiotic drink.
The scoby looks like a slimy round disc. This is removed from the drink after the fermentation process. The good substances and bacteria or probiotics remain in the drink. Probiotics are good for the intestinal flora and support the immune system.
