This natural SPF 50+ sun cream from Biosolis offers high protection thanks to its natural filters. The natural filters titanium dioxide and zinc oxide provide a protective filter layer on the skin that reflects the sunlight. You don’t have to wait for 15 minutes before going out into the sun, because this sun cream offers protection against UV rays immediately after application.
Mineral filters can leave a white residue on the skin. With the SPF 50+ from Biosolis this white ‘residue” disappears on its own or it disappears when spread well across the skin. The white ‘residue’ is a big plus with sun cream for children because you can clearly see where you still need to rub some sun tan lotion.
This sun cream is, moreover, water resistant allowing children to be protected whilst playing in the water. You can notice this by the water drops that remain on top of the skin; the SPF 50+ puts a natural protective layer on the skin.
Biosolis makes use of nanotechnology. When we talk about ‘nanotechnology in a natural sunscreen’ it means that the zinc oxide and titanium dioxide filters are made out of ultra-fine particles. Nano particles are so small that the natural filters partially penetrate (infiltrate) the skin, making the sunscreen easier to spread out and preventing any white residue to remain.
Biosolis does not believe that nanotechnology doesn’t do any damage. For this reason Biosolis is always nanoparticles free.

Use | Sun cream protects your skin only when used often enoughThe AAD (American Academy of Dermatology) recommends to apply the amount of sunscreen needed to fill a shot glass (approximately) across the entire body. This is also the same as a well-filled palm. Moreover, make sure to apply enough sunscreen to the areas of the body which are most exposed to the sun, such as your shoulders, your ears, chest and feet. According to the AAD, we have the tendency to use too little sun cream on our faces – because we want to spread out sunscreen too much to avoid having white residue on our skin or to apply make-up. The face, therefore, is often not sufficiently protected. Try to ensure that a minimum of 1 teaspoon of sunscreen is applied to the face. Remember to repeatedly re-apply sunscreenFor most sun care products, it is preferable to apply your sunscreen anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes before going outside and into the sun. This gives your skin enough time to absorb and process the ingredients so that you are protected against the damaging UVA and UVB rays. The sun care products from Biosolis distinguish themselves by immediately protecting the skin right after applying. Re-apply every two hours, after swimming and also after sweating. Don’t forget that daylight means sunlight. Even in the autumn and the winter your skin is exposed to sunrays. Some light protection can prevent early aging and premature wrinkles. Sunscreen is not waterproof, but water resistantWhether you are swimming or exercising rigorously in the sun, both water and sweat mix with the sun cream on your skin and weaken its protection. Sun cream is, therefore, never water proof even though this is often stated on the labels of sun care products. Waterproof in this context refers to the fact that the sun tan lotion contains petrochemicals and closes off the pores of your skin. Water resistant is used to indicate how long the sun cream remains on wet skin, after how much time the sun cream should be re-applied. This is on average between 40 and 80 minutes. Sunscreen has a limited shelf-lifeA sunscreen loses its strength as time goes by. On most sun care products, the shelf life is mentioned. It does you well to remember to check the ‘expiration date’, as to ensure that your skin is optimally protected. If you’re using sunscreen the whole year-round, then it should not be an issue to finish the tube before it has reached its expiration date. |
