Wakame is a slightly smooth seaweed with an olive-green to brown color. It tastes delicious with sour and cabbage-like vegetables, such as pickled cucumber and carrot. In addition, wakame is often used in Japan to fill up salads and soups. Wakame is grafted on rope nets in the protected Ise-Shima area in Japan and later harvested by hand. This seaweed is fully organic certified.
Wakame has a delicate and sweet taste with a pure aroma, which reminds of oysters.This seaweed is a rich source of calcium, vitamins A, B, C and K. It also contains high concentrations of protein, iron, magnesium, iodine, sodium, chromium, zinc, phosphorus and potassium.

1 large carrot, in ribbons
10g dried wakame
2 tbsp sesame seed
2 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp apple vinegar
2 cm fresh ginger, grated
Prepare the wakame according to the instructions on the package. Put a frying pan on low heat and roast the sesame seeds golden brown. Mix all the ingredients for the dressing together. Put the cucumber, carrot and wakame in a bowl. Mix in the dressing and garnish with the roasted sesame seeds.
