Munio Candela's scented candles are vegan candles, because they are only made from soy wax and natural fragrances. Soy wax has been derived from soybeans and is vegetable, reusable and organic. It does not get hot as quickly, so your candle burns out slower and lasts longer than a paraffin candle.

Candles are usually made from paraffin, a by-product of petroleum. But research shows that when paraffin candles are burned, toxic substances such as benzene and toluene are released.
