Sustainability at Amanvida

Sustainability is central at Amanvida. It is one of our 3 core values. All the brands we sell have a strong sustainability policy and take proactive steps to protect our planet. Our goal as a webshop and online wholesaler is to bring these brands and people together.

At Amanvida, we also go beyond 'just selling sustainable brands'. As an e-commerce business, we make sure that our activities are as sustainable as possible. Ecological products and their sustainable packaging

The brands and products available at Amanvida are always certified organic and as ethical and sustainable as possible. We consciously choose brands with a strong sustainability policy. This means that the products are at the very least organic and respect the environment throughout their entire production process. This is how we are protecting our planet and building a better future together.

The eco labels our products have

In addition to being certified organic, our products have other labels that tell us something about the origin of their ingredients, for example. Often, you can find several icons, symbols or labels on a product or its packaging. Interested in knowing more about what these labels or icons means? We've explained the most common labels here!
 

Packaging with paper and recycled cardboard

We only package your order in cardboard. It's possible that you receive a rather large box from us for just a few products. This is because we reuse our cardboard boxes and do not make a new box for each order.

The protective material we use is also exclusively recycled paper and cardboard. For this we use 'Freddie', our industrial shredder. He turns cardboard boxes (from our suppliers, for example) into shredded cardboard protective material for us.

We never use plastic, bubble wrap or anything similar to protect the contents of your orders. This allows us to keep our carbon footprint as low as possible.

A CO2-neutral parcel service

Quite often, shipping an order has a very large carbon footprint. If we could teleport your orders to you, to further reduce our footprint, we would be happy to do so... but unfortunately that's not possible (yet?).

When we started looking for a suitable parcel service, we had one simple priority: their impact on the environment must be as small as possible. After careful research, we chose our trusted partner: DPD.

Since 2012, DPD delivers all your packages in a CO2-neutral way. DPD reduces their CO2-footprint where possible and supports a series of clean energy projects. Amanvida's sustainable offices

Our office is also as sustainable as possible. Our desks, for example, are made of recycled wood. We hardly ever print anything. If we do have to print anything, such as the invoices you find in your parcels, we always do it on recycled FSC paper. Our colleagues carpool or come by bike, you won't find plastic anywhere in the office, we use sustainable energy, ... What we can do to be sustainable, we do!
