What is the story behind Ben & Anna natural deodorant ?
Ben and Anna left for the countryside after years of hectic life in Berlin. Back to the natural life! They wanted to completely live according to organic, sustainable and vegan principles. For a long time they were looking for a vegan deodorant. This was hard to find. Deodorants usually come in plastic packaging or contain dubious substances to eliminate odours. They didn't want to put these under their armpits!
After a lot of thinking and experimenting, they developed their own vegan natural deodorant, for both men and women. Environmentally responsible as a result of being completely made from natural ingredients, without aluminium and in a paper tube which you can easily recycle after use. Ben & Anna offers a proven and effective protection against sweat and bad odours.
Meanwhile, Ben & Anna have expanded their range to include toothpaste and whitener and are busy developing even more natural, vegan products.
The deodorant from Ben & Anna is made from baking soda or bicarbonate, arrowroot, coconut oil and essential oils. Baking soda has an antibacterial effect and neutralises the smell of sweat. Sweat itself is odourless. The bad smell comes from bacteria on the skin that multiply through the moisture. These are neutralised by the soda. Such a beautiful natural deodorant should come in an eco-friendly packaging, according to Ben & Anna. They came up with a cardboard tube or paper tube that you can squeeze at the bottom. That's how you push the deostick up. When the deodorant has run out, all of it can be thrown in with the old paper. The fresh colours and designs make this natural deo a hip deo stick for young and old, for men and women. There is also a soda-free variety based on clay for sensitive skin or people who are allergic to baking soda.
