Aphyta: organic skin care for conscious people

The Dutch Eva Nouhet has been the founder of Aphyta (originally AVA natural skin care) since 2018. She grew up with organic food, natural products and alternative medicine. Her grandmother had a health food store, something that did not exist in the Netherlands at that time. That is why she wanted to create her own line of natural care products.

Eva's mission is to make natural care products containing the best active oils from plants available to conscious people . Products proven to nourish, protect and repair the skin, such as avocado oil, macadamia oil and shea butter. These substances care for the skin and help cells renew. Products without synthetic ingredients that have as little or no impact on the environment as possible.

Aphyta stands for natural and plant-based. It is a combination of Ava and phyto, the Latin word for 'plant'. Ava means that the products breathe life. It is also the birth name of Eva and the original name of this beautiful natural brand.

Aphyta products are free from parabens, silicones and microplastics and even the packaging is made from recyclable agricultural waste! Paperwise is paper and cardboard made from agricultural plant waste.

Aphyta currently consists of a hand cream , day cream and an anti-aging cream . The skin remains wonderfully soft and hydrated, without leaving a greasy film. The creams smell slightly floral and spread easily. The creams are very economical to use, absorb quickly and help dry, mature, sensitive skin to recover quickly. The products come in 50 ml tubes with a handy flip cap for the correct dosage.

Avocado oil, macadamia oil and shea butter

Avocado oil, macadamia oil and shea butter contain great substances, including healthy fats , that are proven to condition the skin, help cells renew and improve skin elasticity. Therefore, these are the main ingredients of Aphyta.

Vegan hand cream and 99% vegan face cream

The hand cream is completely vegan . Both face creams are - just - not. These contain 'xanthan gum', a thickening agent made by growing bacteria in eggshells. But the used eggshells would otherwise be thrown away and not purchased separately for this. These are therefore not 100% vegan. All products are not tested on animals anyway.

Extensive certification guarantees the top quality of Aphyta

Aphyta has the certification of Natural Cosmetic Standard, Eco-Control, Zero plastic inside and Amsterdam Made. Natural Cosmetic Standard and EcoControl conduct an annual independent audit at the company where Aphyta is made. In addition, Aphyta has the 'zero plastic inside' quality mark of The Plastic Soup foundation. This guarantees that there are no microplastics in it.
