The story of the company Apicoltura Casentinese started in 1982 with nothing but a dream, 100 beehives and a truck. In the beginning, they traveled all over Italy with their beehives in search of the perfect blossoms to make honey. From the valleys of Calabria to central Italy, especially to the national parks of Casentino and Maremma. In 2011, they decided to expand their range and specialized in the production of organic jams without added sugar: Solofrutta . Solofrutta's jams are distinguished by what they DO NOT contain! No added sugar, no preservatives, no flavourings. Only abundant fresh fruit straight from the land, fruit sugars from grape juice and lemon juice.
