Why mushroom supplements? Because they share DNA with us!

Without mushrooms, the fruiting bodies of fungi, plants would not be able to survive. Yet, fungi are genetically more related to humans than to plants! This is due to one common ancestor, which was most probably a single-celled organism with seed-like properties of 1.1 billion years old. So, we share DNA with fungi, which is why they ‘work’ so well for us. Based on this data, Mushrooms 4 Life developed mushroom food-supplements.

Reishi, Chaga, Cordyceps, Lion's Mane and Maitake as "cell whisperers'

Fungi are masters of communication when it comes to communicating to cells because of their underground communication network: the mycelium. As a connecting communicator at the DNA level, they work very well with their environment. Healthy mushrooms stimulate the immune system, balance the body and they are thorough detoxers.

Each mushroom also has its own unique character, properties and nutritional profile. For example, Reishi is called The 'Mushroom of Immortality', Chaga is famous for its adaptogenic properties, Lion's Mane supports brain functions and Cordyceps is traditionally considered a stimulator of virility.
