How are Ladrôme blossom waters obtained?
The flowers distilled for Ladrôme hydrosols come from organic farming or from wild picking in unspoilt natural areas. Ladrôme's flower waters or hydrosols are obtained through slow, long-term steam distillation. During this process, the flower water and essential oil are collected in two different layers: the oily phase on the surface and the water phase below. The water thus extracted contains the same active molecules as the essential oil, but in much smaller quantities. Flower water is therefore much milder and easier to use and less aggressive than essential oil.
