Old-fashioned mustard is made exclusively from brown mustard seeds, water, salt and vinegar. The seeds are crushed and ground on a millstone to release all their aromas. This is done gently so that the crushed grains are still visible. This powder is then mixed with cider vinegar and water. The mixture is left for several hours, gradually transforming into a smooth and creamy mustard with texture.
