Natural mascara without chemicals: ideal for sensitive types!
Are you looking for a natural mascara that doesn't irritate your eyes? This volumising mascara from Green People is the new favourite of many ladies. It contains no chemicals that can cause irritation. This means: no mercury, no formaldehyde, no parabens, no petrochemicals, no methylisothiazolinone, no methylchloroisothiazolinone, no phthalates and no synthetic dyes. What then? Sunflower oil.
The main ingredient of this brown mascara is sunflower oil. This oil contains various fatty acids, such as linoleic acid, oleic acid (oleine), palmitic acid, lecithin, carotenoids, tocopherols and vitamins A, D and E. This makes this mascara antioxidant and suitable for people who suffer from eczema and other forms of irritation.
The mascara with brown-black colour also prevents the lashes from drying out.

Ecocert awards a certificate to cosmetic products that are nature-friendly. The standards applied by the organisation are: the absence of GMOs, parabens, silicones, animal ingredients and so on. General tips for the use and application of natural mascara:
- Prevent the mascara from drying out by rotating the brush and not moving it up and down, as the latter creates air in the tube.
- Use an eyelash comb to apply the mascara. This removes dust particles and lumps, and separates the lashes from each other. This way you can easily apply the mascara evenly.
- Start with the lower lashes, then apply the mascara to the upper lashes. Applying mascara to all lashes widens the look but is not necessary.
- Make sure the first coat is dry before applying a second coat. Only apply two coats if you want to make the colour deeper.
- Always try to start on the inside of the lashes. Then stretch the lashes outwards to enlarge the look.
- Long lashes are created by applying mascara from the base of the lashes.
