Use

Matcha is easy to prepare. For preparing you do not use a teapot but a tea bowl (chawan), a bamboo whisk (chasen)

Green tea should never be brewed with hot water, as this will make the tea bitter. This also applies to Matcha tea.

Mix matcha powder to taste at 60-70 degrees warm water. A small spoonful of powder is enough. Beat the powder with the chasen through the water. This should never take longer than 30 seconds or the tea will become very bitter. The thickness of the tea depends on the quality of the powder.
