Teixidors' Ecological Collection relies on Merino wool from Manu, a French shepherd who cares for approximately 1,500 sheep. His sheep graze freely in the Alps, enjoying a life of well-being.

The craftsmen of Teixidors weave everything by hand, with the same dedication as the old master weavers. The soft sound of wooden looms and the rhythmic movement of hands controlling the threads inspire them every day.

Teixidors provides integration and financial independence for people with mental disabilities. Teixidors was founded in 1983 as a social workshop to provide a place and craft for people with mental and social disabilities. In 2017, 23 people work in the workshop, taking care of all the weaving from start to finish.

This company has embraced this age-old local textile tradition and translated it into a social and environmentally friendly approach to the trade. We started in the early 1980s with the aim of creating employment for people with intellectual disabilities. Their mission has always been to revive the local weaving tradition, create exclusive items and improve people's quality of life, both aesthetically and socially.

Teixidors works with merino wool, yak wool and cashmere, sourced from, among others, Mongolian cooperatives, as well as other natural fibers such as MASTERS OF LINEN® certified 100% European linen. Teixidors attaches particular importance to the origin of the materials used and works closely with suppliers to ensure minimal ecologicalimpact and the highest quality.

Teixidors' goal is to achieve maximum excellence with minimal environmental impact. That is why they attach great importance to the origin of their wool and the process it goes through, from shearing to your home. Teixidors works with farmers' associations, artisans and small producers to support the wool industry and preserve traditional skills and ways of life.
