Wakame is a slightly smooth seaweed with an olive-green to brown color. It tastes delicious with sour and cabbage-like vegetables, such as pickled cucumber and carrot. Wakame salad with cucumber

INGREDIENTS

1 cucumber, in ribbons
1 large carrot, in ribbons
10g dried wakame
2 tbsp sesame seed

DRESSING

2 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp apple vinegar
2 cm fresh ginger, grated

PREPARATION

Prepare the wakame according to the instructions on the package. Put a frying pan on low heat and roast the sesame seeds golden brown. Mix all the ingredients for the dressing together. Put the cucumber, carrot and wakame in a bowl. Mix in the dressing and garnish with the roasted sesame seeds.
