This soap has a wonderfully heavy, woody and smoky smell, but is certainly not meant only for men!
Vetiver strengthens and nourishes the skin, has a relaxing odour and the smoky, woody aroma has a warming and grounding effect. The combination with cedar, elemi, turmeric and patchouli gives extra complexity and a wonderfully deep earthy fundamental tone. Ideal to come to yourself and get both feet back on the ground.
Vetiver is closely related to other fragrant grasses, such as lemongrass, citronella and palmarosa. Although vetiver essential oil does not come from the grass like in these three, but from its roots. The oil matures for several months to develop its typically earthy, smoky aroma.
Safflower oil is a delicious, nourishing oil. It is rich in omega-6 fatty acids and has a hydrating effect. It is used in dry skin and eczema.
