Bio Orto Polpa di pomodoro is a rich tomato pulp with a smooth structure and a perfect base for all your hot and cold dishes. The organically grown tomatoes grow on Gargano, a mountainous peninsula in the province of Foggia.
BioOrto Tomato pulp, ready to use for a Mediterranean touch
The tomato pulp can be used as a basic ingredient in coulis, sauces, stews, soups, gazpacho, tomato mousse... Besides Italian sun power, the only ingredients are fresh water and some salt.
Rich in lycopene
Tomatoes are rich in minerals and vitamins A and C, with high levels of lycopene, a powerful antioxidant.
Recipe veggie wraps with eggplant and tomato pulp
INGREDIENTS
2 eggplants
2 hands arugula
4 Wraps
1 pot of tomato pulp
2 hands grated cheese
olive oil
pepper
salt
PREPARATION
Cut the eggplants lengthwise into slices about 1cm thick. Sprinkle some olive oil, salt and pepper on top and grill in the oven for about 20-30 minutes. Spread the wraps with tomato pulp and sprinkle with some grated cheese. When the eggplant slices are ready, put them on the wrap. Now add some extra cheese, rocket, pepper and salt and roll up the wraps. Stick a stick through it and you're done!
