Ecoficus organic fig bread is made from Spanish 'Calabacita' figs, which means 'pumpkin'. The figs come from Almoharin, a small town closely linked to Arab culture and fig cultivation. They are known for their sweetness, honey-like colour and thin skin. This gluten-free fig bread is deliciously handmade sweet, based on figs, oranges, almonds and cinnamon and nothing else. It can be used as a supplement to a cheese board, in combination with pâtés, in desserts or in salads.
