Sprouted buckwheat from Taiga Naturkost is full of vitality
The organic buckwheat is thoroughly washed, sprouted and activated, and then gently air-dried at less than 45 °C. Breaking down the starch into simple sugars significantly improves the taste. Sprouted buckwheat contains carbohydrates, fibre, vitamin B1, vitamin B6 and various minerals, such as magnesium.
Organic buckwheat: not a grain, but still extremely healthy
During the germination process, the grain is roused from its 'sleeping state', allowing its vitality and qualities to be fully released.Due to the germination process, the activated buckwheat is cooked in 1 minute with just a little water, making it ideal as a side dish. Use it in muesli as well and as a topping for desserts.
Is buckwheat gluten-free?
Buckwheat is a herbaceous plant. Buckwheat grains are the fruit of this plant. Buckwheat is therefore not actually a grain, but has a lot in common with them. Consequently, it is also processed in food in the same way. Because buckwheat is not a grain, it contains no gluten and is thereby suitable for celiac patients.
