Borscht is a hearty winter soup from Eastern Europe that turns a beautiful red due to the red beets it contains. This vegan borscht from Auga has a base of red beets, potatoes and carrots. Auga uses beetroot that they have grown and harvested themselves using modern organic techniques. The carrots provide a sweet touch. With a piece of bread, this beetroot soup is a complete meal soup.
This ready-to-use soup comes in a durable pouch and is enough for 1 large bowl or 2 small bowls of soup. Pour the soup into a saucepan and heat while stirring. You can also simmer the closed soup bag in hot water for 10 minutes or heat it open in the microwave.
Handy for lunch at work or to take with you on vacation.
Auga organic soup is packaged in an innovative lightweight stand-up pouch that can safely be seen as packaging of the future. During its entire life cycle, this bag produces less CO2 emissions than traditional packaging such as a glass jar of the same size. Because the packaging is so light, this also saves on transport and therefore on CO2 emissions.
