Pesto Kale from Bio Orto is pasta pesto with Italian flair

Pesto is a classic Italian seasoning, originally made from olive oil, basil, garlic, sea salt, pecorino cheese and pine nuts, finely ground in a mortar. This pesto from Bio Orto is based on crispy kale, which combines excellently with lasagne, gnocchi or other pasta.

Kale is rich in flavour and nutrients

Kale has a very high nutrient content and a very low calorie content, making it one of the most nutrient-rich foods on the planet. The spicy cabbage taste always gets sweeter after the frost period.

Pasta pesto with pesto kale

INGREDIENTS

300 g spaghetti
180g Pot of Pesto Bald
80 g Pecorino Romano
2 tbsp pine nuts
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
lemon juice

PREPARATION

Cook the pasta al dente according to the instructions on the packaging and pour off. Mix the hot pasta with the kale pesto and scoop onto deep plates. Sprinkle the pine nuts and cheese on top. Sprinkle with some olive oil and lemon juice.
