Numi Mate Lemon is an Organic Green Tea with Yerba Mate and Lemon Myrtle
The Numi Mate Lemon tea is an energizing, caffeine rich green tea with South American Yerba mate and Australian Lemon Myrtle.
Yerba Mate provides Numi’s Mate Lemon with a refreshing twist. It is a caffeine rich infusio made from the leaves and buds from the South American mate plant. It tastes bittersweet.
The Lemon Myrtle creates a cool, crisp undertone. Lemon Myrtle is a subtropical Australian plant with leaves that exude a full lemon flavour.
The Green tea turns Numi’s Mate Lemon into a tea rather than simply a fusion of ingredients. The green tea components in this mix originate from the organic Fair Trade tea plantations in Jiangxi, China. Here, the plantation workers use their Fair Trade premiums to better the surrounding communities.
The Mate Lemon tea tastes predominantly like Yerba Mate. Yerba Mate is Argentina’s national drink. In Argentina ‘Mate Bars’ are just as popular as coffee houses in Europe and North America. Consuming Yerba Mate tea is a way of socializing in Argentina. For example, Yerba Mate tea is traditionally prepared and served at all family events and get-togethers with friends, in a calabash with the ‘bombilla’, which is a wooden or metal straw.
Yerba Mate tealeaves are exceptionally rich in caffeine. If you’re looking for a replacement for your morning cup of coffee, a cup of Numi Mate Lemon is the way to go. Numi Mate Lemon will give you that extra boost when needed.
Other Numi teas that will give you a caffeine boost include Numi's Emperor's Pu-erh Tea, Chocolate Pu-erh Tea, Aged Earl Grey Tea and Gunpowder Green Tea.
